This app collects no personal data whatsoever. It does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, usage analytics, crash telemetry or any other information about you or your device.
The routes, ascents, sessions, venues, notes and settings you enter are created by you, stored only on your device, and never transmitted anywhere.
All processing happens on the device. Your grade pyramid, streaks, flash rate, send-rate trends and badge progress are computed locally from your own entries, in the app, at the moment you open the screen. Nothing is uploaded, profiled or used for advertising.
No data is shared with anyone — not with the developer, not with advertisers, not with analytics providers, and not with any other third party.
The only way data leaves the app is when you deliberately export it: the Export function hands a JSON or CSV file to Android's system share sheet, and you choose the destination. That transfer is initiated and controlled entirely by you.
Your logbook is stored locally using:
Because nothing is transmitted, there is no server-side database that could be breached and no account that could be compromised.
Your data is retained on your device until you delete it. You can erase everything at any time via Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app, which removes all of its local storage. Neither action requires contacting anyone, because no copy exists anywhere else.
Sendtally has no sign-up, no login, no password and no user profile. It never asks for an email address. The app is fully functional the moment it is installed, with no connection required.
Sendtally is not directed at children and is not part of the Google Play "Designed for Families" programme. Because the app collects no data from anyone, regardless of age, it cannot knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from a child under 13.
You have complete control over your data at all times, exercised directly in the app rather than by request:
There is no request to submit and no waiting period, because the developer holds no copy of your data.
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no social login, no payment processing and no cloud backend. No third-party service receives any information from this app.
Sendtally declares exactly one Android permission: INTERNET.
It is used for a single purpose — loading this privacy policy page in an in-app browser view when you open it from Settings. No other feature in the app uses the network. Sendtally requests no camera, storage, location, contacts, microphone or notification permissions.
The app's Data Safety declaration in the Google Play Console states "No data collected" and "No data shared". This is accurate: the insights, gamification, export and customization features all compute on-device and involve no collection or transmission.
Effective date: 23 July 2026. Last updated: 23 July 2026. If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this address with a revised date.

Sendtally is compliant with the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and COPPA by design: it processes no personal data outside the user's own device, so there is no processing to consent to, no sale or sharing of personal information, and no cross-border transfer.
For the purposes of the GDPR, the data controller is [DEVELOPER_NAME], an individual developer — there is no company, no organization and no third-party processor involved. Under the CCPA/CPRA, the app does not sell or share personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
